~With Time~

With time, women gain weight because we accumulate so much
information and wisdom in our heads that
when there is no more room, it distributes out
to the rest of our bodies.
So we aren't heavy, we are enormously cultured, educated and happy.
Beginning today, when I look at my butt in the mirror I will think,
Good grief, look how smart I am!

Enjoy your weekend, it's the perfect time to celebrate being "You"
Big Hugs~Elizabeth~

  21. Elizabeth,
I am not sure I knew you were moving? Far away??? What a big job. This will be a big job when we sell, as we have so much "stuff" that we had to run the B&B.

  22. Hi, Elizabeth...I just received (via Kim at Daisy cottage) the heart you made for me! Thank you so much - it is so "me" - I LOVE polka dots especially red/white and blue gingham - it looks like it was made just for my kitchen! :) The crochet part looks like my vintage red/white potholders, too! And, so soft!
I want to thank you for also making a heart for Jack and to everyone who took the time to make and send one. I wasn't even sure if it was a good idea, but late that night after reading about him & his dear wife on Kim's blog I, too was so touched & compelled to reach out...and so started stitching a heart - something that I love to do, needlework, with pieces of fabric that I love, thinking of how we are all bits and pieces of a mysterious puzzle called LIFE...to show him in a way that their love touched us and always will...that Tabatha's spirit was reaching out to show him that he isn't alone...I only followed that feeling and I am so glad I did. I don't have a blog but like so many people have been inspired & connected when things feel so hopeless or out of control in our personal lives. I don't believe I've ever been to your blog before but I will definitely visit again (okay, wow, I saw the vintage red/white Chevy and have to tell you that I adore vintage cars, too!)
Thank you again & I love the cutest card with polka dots! :)

  29. I'm really smart! hahah. Great post. Thanks for stopping by mine and leaving such a lovely comment. Good luck with your move! Sounds like you are going to have fun painting and decorating the new family room. Hardwood floors do make a big difference. I think you will like Hilton Head Cream from BM, I also am loving Monroe Bisque too. It's an historical color from BM. Less yellow. Have fun!
