~A Day of Rest~

Moving can be very dangerous! I had Hurt fingers, Sore arms Sore back and bags under my eyes for days! All I needed and wanted was one day of rest. I knew a day would come and so it did! It was to be a "Aloha Party".
Yes this is really me, Resting. My family said I can't believe you are sitting down. Well I kinda had too after three Mai-Tai's in a plastic cup! Do I look smashed?. LOL
I hope you enjoy your day of Rest and do whatever makes you the happiest.
Big hugs for you all, Elizabeth

  1. You look tired but beautiful, honey. When we moved here 5 years ago I thought I was going to DIE. I mean I was so tired I thought I would literally not live. AND the BOXES we opened would keep digging into my legs but I didn't realize that was what was making them hurt. Walking around the house dodging boxes we had opened! I finally just let Love Bunny finish it and he was happy to treat me like a queen and do it for me. I'm so blessed to have HIM!!

  6. Elizabeth,
Hope your hand gets better :( Moving is tough on the old body. We moved chairs last week and a couple of other things and it gave me a muscle spasm in my and a bruised heel, who knows how I got that??? Hang in there!

  11. Love that red rose, E. Nothing wrong with working hard & then resting a spell, Mai Tai or not ... tho the MT would motivate me to rest, too.

    Have a great summer's eve ~

  12. Hi Elizabeth,

I just wanted to come over and give you a great big hug filled with understanding...but my arms are too tired to raise up! Isn't this moving fun? I'm in love with your kitchen curtain idea because I am dying over here trying to figure out what I want to do! What's fun is when you get a little whoohoo out of a design creation and it looks like you are having a lot of those! I love your entry way and that mirror looks so pretty there. Are you all out of the boxes yet? I'm getting there over here....cheers my friend, to new places and bright new beginnings :)

    XO,
    Dena

    Sounds like a fun party.
Hope you are all settled in now.
Loved that rose growing through your fence like a housewarming present from your neighbors.

  17. Oh, that looks painful. I would say that you deserve a rest and a mai-tai or two.

The word for word verification is "restsi". Even it agrees that you need a rest :-).
