~More Afghan's~

My hands have been very busy! while laid up from foot surgery. During this time I have completed a few more projects. This white heart crochet afghan is one of my favorite's to make, it is made in strips and then sewed together. I have made this pattern for wedding gifts and baby shower gifts. I love the size of the heart's on this blanket.
I have it draped over the chair in the tea room, where I sit all wrapped up ready to read a good book.

This is our Grand Daughter "Aleena" at Christmas time. I knitted her the hat and scarf she is wearing.
And this is the new addition to our family born Dec. 11, 2009. Meet my new Great Nephew "Logan" he is "modeling" the hat and blanket I made for him. His Mommy is in love with him (lots and lots of kisses).
This little guy weighed in at 8lbs 15oz. let's just say 9lbs. Poor little mommy who is only 5ft tall.
This crochet afghan is a full size blanket that I made in stripes for my Niece and Nephew n law as a wedding gift. Again one of my favorite patterns. It's the same pattern I used for Logan's baby afghan.
I have finished my giveaway gift that I will show you on my 100 th post. I can't wait for you to see it.
Until next time may your hearts be full of love and your hands be busy!.

Elizabeth

Elizabeth,
They are all so beautiful! I love afagans. I have several that my grandmother made for me years ago. I treasure them and I will keep them forever. I think hand made gifts are the best. I know that they will treasure these that you made. Your little nephew is a doll!
I hope that you are feeling better after your surgery.

Aaahh, I see that you have been busy. Darling I do hope that my comment finds you in good form. Foot surgery is very painful, I know this because I had bunionactomy and I suffered very much. I will include you in my special prayer tonight darling. Aleena is a lovely girl, God bless and protect her and your new addition Logan. Take care darling, I will check on you later in the week.

Love & Hugs

Hi Elizabeth,
I am sorry that you had to have foot surgery, but what a cozy retreat to rest in. Your afghans are lovely, and what a cutie baby to create for, as well.

Such lovely Afagans Elizabeth. They are all beautiful, but particularly like the one with hearts, mainly as my daughter & I have a thing about hearts.
You have a lovely nephew. So nice to have an addition to the family.
Really admire your crochet handicrafts. Just acquired a magazine with freebies to start doing crochet. Done some years ago but not brilliant at it.
Hope your recovery from surgery is going well!
Kind Regards

Hello. I am wondering if you are able to share the pattern for the heart puff afghan? I hope you can tell me where you found it or share the pattern. I would love to make it for Valentine's gift for my hunny. Yvette31@hotmail.com
Thanks in advance.

Elizabeth, I came to your blog via Castle and Cottages and I've had a delightful visit.

I loved seeing your guest room makeover. I'm redoing mine and have a guest sign ordered too! Your new bedroom is enchanting.

Your needlework while you heal from your surgery is beautiful, along with your sweet nephew.

You seemed to inspire my to make time for it.
