~Christmas Blessings~

From our home to yours Gary and I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Gods Blessing to you all!
May Christmas warm your heart with the memories of Christmas's passed and may the future hold love and joy and hopes of all your dreams coming true.

This is our Bible, today while thumbing through the pages I came across this lovely portrait of the Mother Mary looking upon baby Jesus.
I remember as a little girl sitting in Church and trying not to wiggle to much in the pew. I would look through my small white bible that nestled perfectly in  my hands. I would look at all the pictures to pass the time and thinking how pretty they were..(its hard for children to sit still for long and I was no exception)

Next to the photo is a list of Beautiful Marion Prayers that I would like to share with you..

You can enlarge the photo if you like.
Have a sweet day my friends!

The nativity in the cloche is so lovely. What a great way to protect it. What a lovely heritage a family Bible is...yours is wonderful.

I just love the Bible being part of the room. Just gorgeous.

You made my day (and previous day)!!! It IS a bit lonely here. Yes, this will get done.

I looked for a link to the northern ca bloggers get together and cannot find it. Is there a way to find it?

Blessed Christmas to you and your family, dearest Elizabeth! Thanks for all your sweet words, sooo glad you're enjoying my little ornament! I'm still sick :(( and I know I should rest in bed, but I was starting to feel somewhat isolated, and had to catch up a bit with my favorite blogs;))
Your room is so cozy, and the Bible wonderful.
Big hugs,

Merry Christmas, Elizabeth. What a fun visit I have been having with you! Doing a bit of catching up.
This was a wonderful post. AND a beautiful book!
I would love to have a Nativity scene and had one once..and no idea what happened to it. It seems to have vanished in one of my moves...it was hand painted by us and very special to me.
This is a beautiful season..and your post captures it completely!
Love,
Mona

Mary Christmas to you too! I used to look at the Bible pictures also. My grandpa's Bible was German, so it always held something to try to figure out!!

Just had to come back again and tell you that I LOVE your LOVE STORY, too! What a blessing to read.

I also absolutely adore seeing Mr. Gary dressed as superman. I'm quite sure our guys would be the best of friends. They are SOOOOOOOOO much alike. Real men not afraid to be just that...REAL MEN!

Merry Christmas to you with a Capital "C"!

Love to you~

Hi there! Wanted to say thanks for saying hello on my blog! So fantastic you too collect three footed tea cups! That's so fun, as I've never met another who has ever really noticed or known about them. Curious how you got started? Do you find them often? Here the are hard to find, which makes my hunt for them so much more fun! I received my grandmothers tea cup collection after her passing 13 years ago. I started antiquing shortly after & realized the fun of searching for similar ones that she had...which turned out to be an obsession for me!!
