~It's a Bright Sunny Day~

Happy Monday, its a bright, bright , bright sunshiny day!
There's nothing like a fresh bunch of  sunflowers to brighten up a day...
They are good for the soul.
 They make my heart sing.
And brighten up a room. The Sunflower can help make you smile.
The orchid brings a sense of calm and peacefulness to a room.

The white is so pretty and sweet. My heart just goes all a flutter.

May this new week bring you sunshine and peace.

Love the sunflowers. I'm patiently waiting for my sunflowers in the veg garden to open.
I don't have any luck with orchids, but they are very pretty.

Dearest Elizabeth and Gary,

Lovely flowers you show today. Sunflowers have a different meaning for this summer having been so sunny and HOT.
As to your comment: 'Hi Mariette,
Beautiful lamp! the roses are amazing and so pretty.
I love your kitchen, I have never seen two sinks one for hot and one for cold. I also love white cabinets. How cool to have food warmer, that would really come in handy when having a party.
Have a sweet day, Elizabeth'
We don't have one sink for hot and one for cold... The hot-water faucet to the left is special for quick tea, coffee or whatever. From a small boiler that is under the counter, built in by Pieter. The other faucet is just a regular hot/cold water faucet with the added feature of an extendable hose. And the cup & saucer warmer is NOT a food warmer. Only for heating up the china you will be serving from. In the michelin star restaurants, quality is being judged by how hot the food is being served at table. So heated plates rank higher, so do cups. Coffee and tea should have a certain temperature for highest quality.
BUT I do have a large food warmer too; that is great when I serve dinner for Pieter's Monday Night Club. In November I'm on call to serve for 15 plus persons a three-course dinner.
Love to the both of you,

Mariette
