~ Crocheted Baby Blankets ~

This granny square crocheted afghan I made for my Nephew Justin and dear wife Nichole who is excepting their second baby in January. A baby boy who will be named Talan. The baby shower for Nichole will be held this Sunday. This green and brown crocheted baby blanket is a gift for my sweet niece Stacey who just had her second baby, a boy named Gavin. I hope to see them on Sunday at Nichole's baby shower.
I Love to create new edgings for my blankets and this one just happened. I enjoyed making this afghan the yarn is a multi colored tweed. My motto is " Busy Hands are Happy Hands".

Beautiful blankets Elizabeth! Homemade & from the heart, are the very best gifts!

New babies in the family are just too much fun aren't they?

Those are beautiful and will surely be passed down from generation to generation becoming a family heirloom. I would love to learn to crochet someday.

Oh those are so pretty. Handmade gifts are the very best in my book. Two very lucky little men to receive them.

Hi Elizabeth, you have been busy making baby blankets! They are all just so adorable and I am sure the new Mommies will be so happy with them!
I have learned how to crochet but have not gotten past the wash clothes yet!
Take care, Love, Ann

Oh how I wish I lived near you. When I was in college my Grandmother spent hours teaching me many different Afghans, blankets, etc. My time with her was dear to me and now she is gone and I never learned how to read a pattern. I'm having grandchildren I would like to teach and make things for and that "art" for me has been lost... I so badly wish to learn again. Time.. one day I will have that again.

Always, Nanette
