~ Remember this Antique Dresser ~

Before and Now
Well here she is!. I know I said we were going to re-store it back to its original state but after hours and hours of stripping and loosing count of how may cans of smelly stripping solvent we used and sand papering we gave up and just painted it white and distressed it a bit. I also replaced the knobs with glass ones. I guess you can call it "Shabby Chic Antique". It fit perfectly into our guest room.

This sweet water pitcher and bowl are from Portugal, our dear friend's Joanne and Richard brought this back as a gift for us. We have had it now for about 15 years. I love the pretty blue and white color.

I love the way it turned out! Sometimes when things don't go the way they are planned they turn out better!

Looks beautiful!!! What a nice addition to your home!

Thanks for your visit and kind words! A week later and not much improvement in how I feel yet. Just trying to cope.
