This is one of my cross stitch projects that I hope to finish soon. A cottage feeling pillow case. It seems to take me longer than it used to, I have such a hard time seeing the tiny little squares to stitch in at night, even with my reading glasses on. It's tough getting older!.

For the edge I will crochet a
lacey trim. What I really like about this pattern is that it was made in the USA.

This is what the cross stitch pattern will look like when it's finished. What projects are you working on I would love to know?.

That is so beautiful -- an heirloom in the making!
Hi,
Thanks for stopping by my blog and introducing yourself. I love your blog too!
What a darling pillow case! I love it. I have not done cross stitch in years but I remember well how much work it was.
Oh and I totally relate about the eye sight! It's hard getting older. LOL
Hugs,
Joanne
That is just beautiful! I was just thinking before I started reading what you wrote, that I would have a hard time doing that because of my eyesight! I wear reading glasses too.
I love embroidered pillow cases and this one is just lovely.
I am working on a mosaic table. I just finished another mosaic teapot lamp for a custom order.
Have a wonderful week!

How pretty! I would love to embroidery again...it's been years! I am so drawn to the detail and love little tea towels. I jumped away from sewing to make a little scrapbook so now I will probably get a sewing project started next...you've inspired me!
That is so beautiful. I want to learn how to do this. My MIL started to teach me then she passed away, I still have a unfinished project! Yours is beautiful! I always look for vintage cross stitched pillow cases in antique stores. I love them!

Now that is going to be a treasure for sure when you get it done. I love the pattern, colors and the Sweet Dreams... Even with a magnifying glasses it would be hard for me to see those tiny stitches... lol you do such beautiful work.
Thank you for the kind comment and the visit,, I really enjoyed reading you comment... stop by again..

What lovely cross stitch work!
(I am having such a difficult time with needlework these days, too. I have a pair of magnifying glasses to use just for the close-up stuff. I can't bear them for anything else...not even reading.)
You're right! They didn't tell us about this part of getting older.
I seriously love your blog.. Excellent colors & theme.
Did you develop this site yourself? Please reply back
as I'm wanting to create my own blog and would love to know where you got this from or just what the theme is called. Kudos!
