~Chandelier for Tea Room~

I had been wanting a chandelier for my tea room for ages, but I just couldn't find the right size until I went into one of my favorite lighting stores in Modesto, Ca (Philips Lighting). This was the first chandelier that caught my eye. It was so different and since I have tall ceilings I needed something that when you looked up you could actually see the beauty of the light.

Its so hard to get a good picture of a light when its on, but I really wanted you all to see how pretty it looks on.

A shot of the chandelier through the mirror, do you recognize the pink heart hanging on the mirror? Cindy from My Romantic Home made this and had them for sale in her ESTY store. I love the pink heart.

I did a little rearranging of the pictures in the tea room, I hung one of my favorite pictures on the door. I wanted it to be at eye level when sitting.
You may also recognize the domed plate on the table, I bought this from Tina at Cherry Hill Cottage. I have mentioned before that I really enjoy buying home made items from other blogger's. There is nothing like a treasure that was home made by someone who's blog you enjoy reading. I still have many more treasures to purchase from many talented lady's. While on vacation in Victoria BC I bought two of these blue tea pot Tea Towels. I love the blue and white . I had been looking for tea pot towels and was so happy to finally find some.

P.S. I want to thank everyone who reads my blog and for those of you who leave a note.
It's so sweet and thoughtful of you to want to do so. I know its hard to get around to everyone but know it means so much to me that you take the time out of your busy life to stop by for a visit.

Big hugs to you all,
Elizabeth

I hope everything is going well, it's been busy here but I'm making alot of progress and trying to get things I have put off, done. The chandelier is lovely -- and I like how it is reflected in the mirror -- more bang for your buck. The whole tea room is so serene.

That is really a unique chandelier, sugar. Very romantic also. I have a cathedral ceiling in my living room with a ceiling fan and light but I want a chandelier up there BUT we need the fan and I don't see how I can put a chandelier on a ceiling fan. Maybe I'll call a lighting place in Boise and see if they have any ideas. I don't like the "lights" they put on the fans but it is what it is. Hah..... Anyway, you did a beautiful job on that room, sweetpea.

Connie

Perfect! Your tea room really is a delight. I can imagine enjoying a cup of Earl Grey, some soft music and a good book (or stack of decor magazines) there...

Just lovely! Such an elegant chandelier....looks like something out of a 1930's movie. Your room looks so cozy and inviting. You've done a fantastic job decorating. When can I come over for a cup of Earl Grey and scone?

The photos are fantastic.
Thank you for sharing a look at your gorgeous tea room.
This was so much fun .
I reallly liked your mirror image and your little heart that was hung with love.
You are so clever to hang a frame on the door to be eye level while your guests are sharing tea time with you.
What a fabulous hostess you are .
Thank you so much for the delightful tour .
Blessings of joy to you and yours.
