~Weekend for the Dog's~

Look who came for the weekend...Lola, Sadie and Capone they  came over to play in the pool and celebrate the first day of summer and ( it  was way to hot for  little old me ) this was the first weekend of heat in the central valley!  anyway,  these sweet babies belong to our daughter Bernadette and boyfriend Seth.
Meet Capone  he is a 5year old, 120 pound yellow lab. His Mom was a therapy dog and Dad was a search and rescue dog. As for Capone he is just a big "lover" who loves to swim  and play fetch!

Capone had a blast, he needed a long nap after playing in the pool with Seth..
Isn't Capine so handsome, I think so..
Meet Sadie, also know as Sayders...She is a 6 year old Red Fawn Boxer.Sadie is very much the protector and loves children!! She also will lick you to death LOL. Sadie still thinks she is a lap puppy.
And now for the Mama of all Mama dogs...Meet Lola also a Red Fawn Boxer. Lola is now 10 years old and is the Mama to Sadie. She is also very protective and watches over the children in our family! Lola was shipped from South Carolina when she was just a pup to Bernadette. Her little face is getting so gray now. Bernadette calls her the old girl.  I remember going to the airport to pick Lola up, she was just the cutest little thing with the longest legs! Well Lola girl we all have to get old.  Lola is so sweet and just follows you all over the house. She is a real southern bell.
These three love each other, and have become quite the team.

Forever watching over the family! They bring such joy!

Dearest Elizabeth,

Wow, Capone out-weighs me... quite a body! But it is heart warming when they get along fine and also when they protect their owners!
What a journey for the little puppy to travel from the east to the west...
Love to you and enjoy your new week.

Looks like Capone had a blast in the pool. Can you believe we haven't had pool weather yet? In fact we are expecting lots of rain tomorrow! Anyway, it was so sweet to meet three very beautiful members of your family...My little Cookie says Hi! :-) Wishing you a beautiful day my sweet friend.

Hugs and Kisses,

Oh, your doggies are gorgeous! I collect dogs of all types and love the real ones too. Almost two years ago we lost our pug Ben and I still miss him! I love stain glass anything. We also had two windows that led to the pool and two side boards of our kitchen windows, in our home before this one and always missed that pretty sight too; so when I saw the beautiful roses in the magazine, I saved it, just in case...so when we remodeled our kitchen completely, I decided that I'll go for the stain glass ceiling, as a sky light and I just simply love it! Thank you for your lovely visit.

Lovely pictures of the dogs. They look like they would be a handful to take care of, feed, and clean up the yard after. They do look well behaved. Your pool looks so inviting, I can see why they enjoy it. Way too cold here yet to think about swimming or revealing that much skin, but it sure is pretty.

Those dogs are so beautiful! Large dogs just amaze me with their strength and their beauty. I have only owned one in my life and it was not a good time for me to have met him, so I gave him back to the person who gave him to me and that horrid person shot him. I loved him.
Your pool is lovely, what a treat it must be for you to swim in that on hot day.

Hi there, Well you just gave me my dog fix for the day-thank you! I've been missing pups while we are here-and my friends who post about their furbabies, furgrands too, help ease the pain.
I can't wait until it's your turn to be here-you'll have such fun and I hope the wind will be gone by then.
Have a great evening.

Labs and water are like peanut butter and jelly! I've seen them jump out of canoes to get in the water! Boxers are handsome and their expressions are funny!
We're still rather cool here but warming up to 70 next week! Yay!

Oh my! You had quite a house full of company for that hot weekend. It was hot in Bakersfield too.
The dogs are beautiful as is your pool. I think I would have been right in there with the dog. The water looks so refreshing...no pictures thought.
