~A Summer Bracelet & Three Throw Pillows

Happy Monday! Today I would like to share with you some work from very creative ladies. Recently I was the lucky girl who won "A Summer Bracelet" over at Vee's "A Haven for Vee"  Vee has such a warm and friendly blog and she hosts a blog party called "Note Card Party" it is held the third Wednesday of each month, so the next party will be on August 15th. so go on over to Vee's and join in or enjoy viewing all the beautiful post card photo's.
A lovely gal by the name of Deanna designed and made " A Summer Bracelet" that Vee was gifting. I was able to choose a  bracelet  and so of course you all know how much I love red and  choose a red bracelet!!! I love it! and it has an magnetic clasp. I don't even need  help putting this sweet Summer Bracelet on.
Oh by the way, How do I look as a hand model :)  hehehe
The color is so pretty and its made so well and sturdy. Just look at the clasp isn't it cool....
This is truly a fun and pretty bracelet to wear. Deanna shop is called "Fab Fashion" she also has a blog "Creekside Cottage"  go on over and say Hi...

While reading Becky's "Sweet Cottage Dreams" I was admiring the pillows she had posted that were made by Judy Clark. So I went over to Judy's ETSY site 20NORTHORA and fell in love with  her pillows. I purchased this vintage red and white rose pattern one with vintage buttons. I love the red checks and rick rack..

Aren't the buttons adorable...I think so...
Then I saw this petite little pillow made out of more vintage fabric and knew I had the perfect little child's chair it would sit on. The pom poms are just so cute around the edge!

As a surprise Judy sent along this Tip Top Cherry Pie accent pillow, its  so darling  and it was so sweet of her to surprise me like that. I was smiling from ear to ear...so if  you are looking for a  fun vintage and original pillow go on over and visit Judy.

On the quilting front I have been working on a disappearing 9 patch quilt with some of the fabric I purchased while in Kauai. I still have a lot to sew, as soon as its done I'll post photos for you.

I hope you all have fun this week and "CREATE" something unique.  My dear friend Ana from
"A Petite Cottage" made this heart for me as a gift with my word of inspiration for 2012" I heart my heart!! so much.
Ana also has a ETSY store  with beautiful hand made items to purchase as a gift for someone special or a gift to yourself..

Have a very blessed and peaceful week and "Remember the days blessings and  forget the days troubles"

What beautiful pillows. They are perfectly at home in your place.

And what a sweet little heart your friend made with CREATE on it. You're a blessed gal!

So love that bracelet. Will pop over for a visit to see her line.

Your pillows are beautiful ... I am not a red person but could easily see these in my home. Your home is so rich & warm ... you have created a very inviting decor.

Sorry I have been remiss in visiting, but summer has been swamped with both business & family this year. Stay with me, I'll be back more soon.
TTFN ~

Hi Elizabeth. You certainly have some pretty things to show such as that nice red bracelet. The clasp is great because some bracelets can be so difficult to fasten. I will have to check out the Etsy shop to see her beautiful pillows. The ones you chose are sooo pretty. They look great in your house. --------- Shannon

Such pretty things in your post, Elizabeth. I love red too. Lucky you to win such a pretty bracelet. You do make a good hand model. Being a pillow person, I really apprecitated the beauty and workmanship of your pillows. Inspired me to dig out some of my vintage pieces and see what I can do. Will check out some of the Etsy stores and sites you recommended. You are so sweet to do that.
I like your quilt too. I have seen that pattern around and wondered what it was called. You must have bought out the fabric stores in Hawaii. LOL You are so good to use what you found so quickly. I would tend to just fold it up and look at it.
