I have been busy clanking my knitting needles to make this little sweater. I have had this pattern for years and just never made it. I went into a little yarn shop in town where I live and saw a variegated yarn that caught my eye. I always have fun using a variegated yarn since you never know what its going to end up looking like, its a big suprise!. And then this pattern for the Cutie Patootie Sweater came to mind and I thought it might make up nicely using this yarn.
The yarn is Jawoll Magic by Lang Yarns it a 150g ball and is 6 ply. I used one ball and had left over yarn. Jawoll Magic was $28.00 for one ball. I used the same yarn but doubled it when I crocheted the trim around the neck, hem, front and sleeves.
If you'd like the pattern for the sweater here it is "Cutie Patootie Sweater"
With the leftover yarn I knitted up these little booties.
While going through my yarn stash I found leftover yarn and decided to knit up these very simple little hats. I think I will add flowers to them.I just have to find a crochet flower pattern I like and then I will make crochet flowers for them..
So what have you been working on?. Right now I'm knitting hats for the boys, don't tell them OK...the hats will be for Christams...
Enjoy your week everyone!

The sweater is adorable. Thanks for sharing the pattern.
I am actually working on a afghan,mi am excited about it since I have not been knitting for a long time. I took classes in my town and happen to really like it.
I love the yarn and that sweater! Do you sell your finished pieces? xo
That's a darling sweater. How sweet the way the front is off-set. Any mama would love to have her little girl wear that. Oh you'll have fun finding some great flowers. I like making several up and stacking them one on top of the other. Hope that we'll get to see the hats adorned.
Oh...this sweater is precious!! I love all of your knit items.

That sweater is just TOO cute! I love how the variegated yarn worked out. I'm knitting a scarf for one of the grands with some of the yarn she picked out. And of course I have a dozen quilting projects cranking! Have a great week!

Dearest Elizabeth,
You are not only a great team mate for your husband Gary but you are a great knitter too!
Those will make wonderful Christmas gifts and the receiver will be lucky.
Hugs to you both,
Mariette

Hi just found your lovely blog, what a great knitter you are the little jumper is so pretty and so are all the other things also.
That is just the cutest little sweater and the name of it is just as cute. Your choice of yarn is perfect for it. You have been busy clicking those needles. Booties and hats too. I'm starting 7 Christmas skirts this week, so will be busy for a couple of weeks with those. Had two Christmas Boutiques and that's about it.
Hope you are having a great week. It's cold but beautiful here.
