After many months, OK a lot of months, and they say "Elephants never Forget" LOL well I did. I am finally posting the pattern that many of you asked for, the sweet "Rock-A-Bye Plaid Afghan. I made mine of course in white and red. The pattern shows it in baby blue and white.
A closer look at the trim..You can click to enlarge photos. The afghan measures 33"x45" a very nice size to throw over your comfy chair. Or as its shown below in the photo as a baby afghan.
Click to enlarge pattern. I am very sorry it has taken me so so long to post. Have fun crocheting! Remember our Motto " Busy Hands are Happy Hands", keep creating!
Have a sweet day my friends.

So very pretty - stitching the red (or blue) lines on after - good impact. Thanks for including the instructions.

Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
It's beautiful! I love the red and white! I don't crochet anymore but if I did I would give this one a try. LOVELY! :)
Such a lovely afghan. I am going to tell my sister to drop by and see that pattern. She loves making afghans.

Thank you Elizabeth, this is a very lovely pattern - could work with numerous color combinations
Hope you have a blessed day,

Oh Elizabeth, as you know, I have coveted that Afghan since you first showed it. I'm am so excited to now have the pattern. I haven't croceted in years. Sure hope I can do it. It will be a great take along project. Thanks so much for sharing.
Your afghan is so beautiful! If I knew how to crochet I would want one just like it...love the red and white! ~Deb~
That is an adorable afghan! Be careful, with it being red and white, a certain "B" friend of ours may come and whisk it away.
I started to learn to crochet years ago and would like to take it up again. I still have a project to finish. Crocheting is a lot more portable than knitting! My project was just shell stitch and I loved working on it. I don't know why I didn't finish it. Do you teach? :)
OO, how pretty! Now I need to learn how to crochet...
Oh, Elizabeth, you know I love this throw in my favorite color RED! I'm going to print out the instructions (Thanks!) and save this one for future projects.
